Multi-Index fund range

The Multi-Index fund range is our flagship multi-asset offering for financial advisers and wealth managers.

These risk-targeted funds are built on five key investing pillars of multi-asset investing: suitability, dynamic asset allocation, diversification, cost effectiveness and engagement. These driving forces are integral to delivering efficient multi-Index solutions that aim to meet our clients’ needs.

We target the risk characteristics of the Distribution Technology asset allocation but then build the portfolio based on our own long-term assumptions. We believe our focus on staying within clients’ risk parameter is a differentiating factor for us.

Growth focused funds

We offer five risk-targeted funds for a range of specific investor profiles. The asset allocation of the funds is managed dynamically investing across equities, bonds, alternatives and cash.

Income focused funds

For those seeking income, we offer three funds again catering to different risk profiles. These employ a similar asset allocation, but tilted towards securities paying attractive dividends or coupons.

Future World ESG funds

We offer five funds for clients who want to express a conviction on ESG themes across a broad array of asset classes and strategies.

Investment approach

We have built this service on the five pillars of multi-asset investing that we believe are the driving forces that help us deliver your clients’ objectives.

We believe your clients need a fund that is aligned with their investment goals. We have designed each fund with a particular investment target and ‘risk profile’ and we aim to keep any potential risk within those set parameters.

Our team reviews all the funds regularly and adjusts them when our views on the markets change, aiming to maximise results within your clients' risk profiles.

We act as shareholders on your and your clients' behalf to influence company actions by voting on motions put forward by boards.

Our funds invest across a variety of investment types, from bonds and property to shares in companies traded on UK and international markets.

These funds have access to LGIM’s low-cost index funds building blocks to keep the overall charges low, while still taking advantage of wider active investment opportunities where appropriate.

Key risks

The value of any investment and any income taken from it is not guaranteed and can go down as well as up, and investors may get back less than the amount originally invested. The risks associated with each fund or investment strategy should be read and understood before making any investment decisions.
