For investors looking for exposure to direct commercial real estate we have a number of balanced funds available. These funds have proven track records and have been designed to meet different investor needs.
Funds available for investment
Property Fund
Access to direct UK property investments in a globally diversified, daily-dealing fund.
Managed Property Fund
Launched in 1971, this open-ended balanced fund is specially designed for UK pension schemes. It invests in UK property, with a focus on enhancing income and creating added value. We aim to embed ESG considerations throughout.
Hybrid Property Fund
This fund invests in the Managed Property Fund (weekly) and LGIM’s Global Real Estate Equity Index Fund and is available to UK DC Pension schemes.
The Limited Price Inflation Income Property Fund
The LPI fund represents an attractive property alternative to traditional index-linked gilts and bonds. It aims to deliver an income stream that rises in line with limited price inflation from longer leases to high quality tenants.
Other balanced funds
The LGIM Sustainable DC Property Fund
The LGIM Sustainable DC Property Fund combines an existing property fund with explicit environmental, social and governance (ESG) targets - exclusively for DC clients.
UK Property Income Fund Series
The first fund, the Legal & General UK Property Income Fund I, launched in 2010 and successfully returned capital to investors in 2015. The Legal & General UK Property Income Fund II launched in 2013 and is currently actively managing its assets.
Linked Life Property Fund
A balanced Property fund with assets located throughout the UK. The fund concentrates on core sectors and seeks to grow income and capital values through asset management strategies.
Linked Pensions Property Fund
A balanced Property fund with assets located throughout the UK. The fund concentrates on core sectors and seeks to grow income and capital values through asset management strategies.
Life Fund
Now closed to new investors, this strategic, balanced property portfolio invests in a range of UK property assets, with the aim of enhancing returns through the use of active asset management.
